Freedom From Glasses After Crystalens Cataract Surgery

bit.ly When Alice needed advice for her cataract surgery, she asked her friends. Her friends with Crystalens implants had much more success than her friends who chose other lens replacement options.

how safe is your eye after having a ruptured globe surgery, a cataract surgery, and a leans implant surgery?

i am just wondering how stable your eye would be like if it would be just as stable as the other one after recovery? or would i always have to be sorta carfull not to get hit in it?

After cataract surgery last year on both my eyes, my distance sight in both eyes are no PLANO however…?

my glasses had to have prescription (2.25) for reading. During the eye, everything turned out alright except that this time the doctor informed me that I have astigmatism. He explained to me what it was but I don’t have the symptoms, that is, flat or distorted view. He said that a new set of glasses will improve my sight although at the moment my sight could not be any better. I hate to spend the money for a new set of glasses unless I have to. My question is, is my astigmatism going to get worse if I don’t get a new prescription glasses? Or just wait until the condition starts to bother me. I have Vision insurance so I get free eye test every year but the coverage does not pay much for frames or anything extra such as photo or bifocals.

Is vitreous detachment after a retinal detachment surgery risking another retinal detachment?

I had a detachment 12 years ago due to trauma. I now have a cataract that has been stable for 12 years. I now have a vitreous detachment. The only symptoms I have so far are the feathery floaters. They were in my top left vision but have now moved down the left side as well. My optometrist has checked it, and says it is stable and doesn’t seem to be pulling on the retina.
Am I at a greater risk now to another retinal detachment, and will it be safe to have the cataract removed?

Is it possible that the vision in my right eye is blurry after my cataract surgery 6 yrs ago?

I’ve also had my secondary cataracts removed about 3 years ago, but now the vision in my right eye seems like it was before my initial surgery, my left eye is fine. I’m very worried, please help.

Does anyone know if cataracts can come back after surgery to remove them?

Someone just told me that cataracts can come back. I’ve never heard of this before and think they made it up.
